These terms govern your use of haywoodmushrooms.com and any order placed through it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
About our products
We sell mushroom grain spawn and cultures intended for cultivation use only — inoculating your own substrate, growing your own fruiting bodies, or research and educational use. Our products are not intended for direct human consumption in the form sold, and we make no medical or health claims about them.
Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. You don't need an account to order — guest checkout is available.
Orders, pricing & payment
Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice. Payment is processed securely through Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order we can't fulfill, such as if stock runs out before your order is prepared.
Made-to-order items
Some items are made to order rather than shipped from ready stock. Estimated ship windows shown at checkout are our best estimate based on typical colonization time, not a guarantee — biological processes vary.
Shipping
We currently ship within the United States only. Once a package is handed to the carrier, we're not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by the carrier in transit — though if that leads to a non-viable arrival, our returns & refunds policy still applies.

Limitation of liability
Cultivation outcomes depend on many factors outside our control — sterile technique, environment, and substrate quality among them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
